Mandis emerges Imo NNPP chairman

New Nigeria People’s Party has organized a state Congress, NNPP with Chief Mandis Duruimo emerging the chairman of the party in Imo state.

At a Congress which at Owerri, the state capital, the Isiala Mbano LGA born politician said that NNPP is an alternative to All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party.

Chief Duruimo said that with APC’s misrule and PDP’s failed administration before APC took over NNPP was a credible alternative for Nigerians.

The new NNPP chairman assured that if elected into power, his party would end insecurity by providing jobs and treating every tribe equally.

Duruimo said” I am happy that I have been elected the chairman of New Nigeria People’s Party in Imo state. This calls for greater synergy. I therefore call on our people to join us to rescue Nigeria and Imo state.We are committed to a better and secured Nigeria and only NNPP will assure that.”

Those elected alongside Chief Duruimo include are Paul Abala, Rufus Amaefula, Peter Ugorji as zonal chairmen for Owerri, Okigwe and Owerri.

Others are, Amadi BMC, secretary, Franca Okolie, woman leader, Bekee Ijezie, Financial secretary, Chidinma Okorie, legal Adviser, Kenneth Opara, youth leader, Gozie Ekeogu, Organizing Secretary, Stanley Ekechukwu, publicity secretary and others.
